hot chocolate?

The iPadders made mugs...
I don't usually plug companies but I seriously have to give a shout-out to Costco.
I ordered these Tuesday at 9 AM.
I ordered ground UPS mail.
They came from South Carolina all the way to Seattle
and do you know when they were delivered?
Wednesday 5PM.
How is that even possible?
I am always pleased with their products and quickness.
Of course it helps to start with some adorable art.
Please note the above one is a fish drinking hot chocolate
while he has a tube to breathe water also.
Now how clever is that?
Oh from the hands and minds of babes...
I seem to only be posting my students' art lately as
I am quite enamored with their wit and talent.
As for me it has been a tough winter and not too much art made by my hands.
Hopefully spring will be better and all those ideas winterizing in my head
will finally make it to fruition.

fly me to the moon

Fly me to the moon, or at least far, far, away.
the first two are my examples and
the rest are their brilliant interpretations.
Go iPadders - I am over the moon with your art!

I have a web site!

 Well I finally did it...
I have a website.
Needless to say it is a work in progress and needs lots more tlc...
but it is a start.
This site by FolioSnap allows you to do it yourself,
and it is not what I would choose for "my perfect website look",
but the labor was free,
so for now that is ok.
So my question to all of you out there-
Do you think I need a blog and website?
I have heard pros and cons.
Of course the site costs money after the first month,
but I can hook it up to sell directly from it for more money if I desire.
Please check it out and let me know what you think-
I would really appreciate it.

How big a bubble can you blow?

With the dreary winter weather outside,
I thought it was time for something bright and cheery...
so bring on the gum-balls!
The only problem with this lesson is that
there is no gum chewing at school.
The example above is mine.
The students used 4 different brushes in this lesson
and how to shade circles to make them appear 3D.
I do believe I would like a piece of gum...
