Welcome to the New Year!

2016 is starting off with lots of creating.
Yay for learning and painting and experimenting
and just being open to trying new techniques and
putting in the time.
Sometimes it is just that-
spending time floundering and trying to pick up the pieces.
But that is how we learn.
So it is all valuable.

I have been spending more time in here.
I organized and sharpened pencils and brought in my
Halloween bear's head to hold paintbrushes.
He is vey happy.
While I paint,
Matteo is practicing his Jedi mind tricks to make the heating vent
give forth much needed heat.
Hope your 2016 is off to a creative start!

iPad Nativity Scenes from my students

Love these scenes my students finished yesterday.
Kids capture the simplicity and creativity
that makes me smile.
This artist asked me if a cheshire cat could visit the nativity.
Why yes.  Love it!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

While I pot some paper whites for gifts
Matteo has visions of birds dancing in his head.
