How big a bubble can you blow?

With the dreary winter weather outside,
I thought it was time for something bright and cheery...
so bring on the gum-balls!
The only problem with this lesson is that
there is no gum chewing at school.
The example above is mine.
The students used 4 different brushes in this lesson
and how to shade circles to make them appear 3D.
I do believe I would like a piece of gum...

What's the opposite of the winter blues?

What's the opposite of the winter blues?
Hmmm...
These artists painted with blue,
but these critters are definitely not blue-
could it be they have the winter whites?
Well they give me a winter smile
and make those blues just disappear...
Hi, do you like my nose?
Love the Impressionistic quality...
 Let's dance?
This one views the Aurora Borealis.
 A fashionable polar bear
And this face is just too cute.
Good bye

3 carrots...

3 carrots
for sale next Friday Jan. 18
at
Once there were two white bunnies living in the snow.
A young women invited them inside,
and they rejoiced and spent the winter
playing games,
entertaining her,
and munching carrots from the greenhouse.
They presented her with a ring to repay her thoughtfulness.
fyi-the 3rd carrot is on her finger in case you were counting.

walking in a winter wonderland

gone away is the blue bird,
here to stay is a new bird...
I introduced the harder Brushes app to my new ipadders yesterday
and these are their creations-
I do believe I would like to go for a walk in these winter wonderlands.
he sings a love song
as we go along
walking in a winter wonderland.

Happy New Year!

I wish each of you a wonderful New Year's Day
and a blessed year to follow...
the sun is casting its rays through the window and warming my soul,
the final wisteria leaves are fluttering to the ground,
I hear the clatter of kitchen bustling
as my husband is patiently attempting to bake Red Velvet Macarons
with cream cheese filling,
and Zoe is barking to come in for the umpteenth time.
She has gone in and out,
 in and out,
as the sun is just so enticing.
Life is good amidst the struggles, disappointments and pain.
These two arrived in the mail Monday
and are heading to my great niece for a late Christmas present.
Aren't they adorable?

I will leave you with this thought...
This is the beginning of a new day.
You have been given this day to use as you will.
You can waste it or use it for good.
What you do today is important because
you are exchanging a day of your life for it.
When tomorrow comes,
this day will be gone forever;
in its place is something that you left behind...
let it be something good.
