Ralph Waldo Emerson
so I need to work on my heart...
I 'borrowed' this hand model from my son to use on my last painting
and it gives me a chuckle holding this brush -
so it may just live on my desk for a while...
wonder if he will notice?
Every artist dips his brush
in his own soul
in his own soul
and paints his own nature
into his pictures.
into his pictures.
Henry Ward Beecher
I found this green floral frog at an antique store the
other day
other day
and thought I could reinvent it as a pencil-brush holder...
and yessiree it works -
my art desk is very happy.
I have two kiddo art lesson to write about...
but so many photos to download...
and the sun is out.
Yes you heard me - the sun is out -
in all its blazing glory and the yard is calling to me
and the lawn needs a makeover badly
and the windows are screaming for a bath
and we don't have a ladder that will work for that since we took out the deck.
So please forgive me and I will post the
cutest kids' art next week
cutest kids' art next week
as after today the weather report shows lots of
short vertical lines
short vertical lines
coming down from the sky... boo hoo.
Just discovered your blog! I love it! AND is that a corgi you are holding? I have one named Heidi. She's my girl, since I have two boys. Can't wait to see what you post next. :)
ReplyDeleteSuch happy colors these paintings had!.My daughter goes to art school. She was doing a project and had to have her son with.He was allowed to paint also.Later the teacher evaluated her piece and was impressed at the childish brush as this is hard to do .He was 4 at the time.
